SEND Teaching Assistant

Staff for Education are working in partnership with an ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in the Mansfield area and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to start at this school in May 2025. This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year at least, due to increased needs of the class.

As a Primary 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Working on a 1-2-1 basis with assigned children who have additional needs
• Supporting the class teacher during lessons
• Working with small groups of pupils
• Running small group support
• Assessment and reporting to class teacher
• Working across all year groups

To be successful for the role, you will:
• Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Have experience working within a school environment
• Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning

Rate of Pay

£83.39 – £90.00 per day
