Secondary Teaching Assistant

Staff for Education currently have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Teaching Assistant in Mansfield starting in September. The role will be a full time, long term position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Part time will also be considered for the right candidate.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the class teacher during lessons
• Working with small groups of pupils or on a 1 to 1 basis
• Running small group exercises
• Assisting with classroom preparation
• Ensuring students understand the lessons and work they are completing
• Building positive relationships with pupils

To be successful for the role, you will:
• Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification and/or experience
• Have previous experience working within a school environment
• Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
